This beach is on the doorstep of our chalets, which looks over to St Ives and Carbis Bay. You can watch boats going up and down the estuary during high tide. It's a beautiful place to sit and let the rest of the world fall off your shoulders for a moment.

No doubt you'll spot a few of these during your holiday. With Cornish history dotted all across the county, you'll feel as nostalgic as the locals.

An amazing place to visit - on the pricey side, but it's worth it. The domes contain vast plant life (we spotted a lizard on our last visit!), and makes for a unique venue for the various events held here throughout the year.

This is our favourite beach! Being a popular location, there's a large car park with paths down to the beach as well as into the dunes. A walk along the beach leads to Godrevy, where there is a selection of cafes for the foodies, and surfboard hire to enjoy the famous Cornish surf!

This little cafe set in Mousehole offers a different vibe with its quaint and quirky tea-cups. If you're looking to have a Cornish Cream Tea, this is the place!

Like the gardens of fairy tales, this is a magical place to inspire the soul. A bit of a journey in the car from our chalets (approximately 50 minutes), but worth the trip if you appreciate the natural world.

Near Godrevy Lighthouse is a small cove where you can visit a herd of seals! Best to go when the tide is out.

What little creatures will you find hidden in the rock pools? Castle Beach in Falmouth is a great spot!

A castle on an island. When the tide goes out, you can walk to it; otherwise, there are boat rides across the sea!

Why not wander around the farm, picking berries and greeting the animals? There's also a really tasty restaurant and shop with all local produce. Based near Hayle.

Located in Gwithian is our favourite pub. The food is fantastic - a good menu, with seafood and your classic burgers.

Near Helston is The Lizard. It's worth putting on the walking shoes and strolling across the clifftops. Also home to the Cornish choughs!

If you're into marine life, then this will be right up your street. Take a boat trip out to sea from Falmouth, and see what you come across!

Just in Hayle, not far to go for some really lovely authentic Mexican/American food. This place gets the thumbs up from us.
